Is this the cure for hiccups?

I’ve been plagued all my life by randomly bad hiccups.

Tonight they struck again, but I may have found the solution.

  1. Breathe in2/3 through your nose (approximation) and mouth at the same time for 2 seconds.
  2. Breathe out in a very punchy manner from 90% your mouth and 10% your nose simultaneously – by punchy I mean you exhale quickly so the full breath is expelled in about half a second or less than a second.
  3. Repeat a few times (but less than a minute – say 45 seconds until you feel comfortable)

Boom. If it works like how it worked for me I hope to be awarded with an honorary doctorate somewhere.

People who have been kicked out of clubs for excessive hiccuping will be reborn.
