An ode to the Captain

Oh captain, my captain

You sailed away from my morning heart

Dawn’s early light

Was our time

Together

A sea of white, foaming spray

Sweetness was your gift

The jolly smiles, the wide-open eyes

Adventure, my friend!

You have been gone for three years

Golden globules of gorgeous crumbles

I miss you.

An ode to the original flavor of Cap’N Crunch cereal, which they removed almost 3 years ago from the Cold Storage supermarket near my place.

Peanut butter flavored is still available, but really… that’s like dreaming to be a deckhand instead of being Blackbeard.

Overlooked and underrated features in Leopard

Computerworld has an opinion piece on the Top 25 overlooked and underrated features in Leopard.

I haven’t used iChat much but the iChat theater feature sounds interesting. The Guest log-in is a great feature too.

I didn’t know about the Mosaic screensaver. Guess I need to create some iPhoto libraries and check it out!

Is Google stumbling?

BusinessWeek has an article about the recent woes plaguing Google.

Aside from ads, I’m still not sure how Google makes any money. I suppose there is so much money in online advertising that perhaps one doesn’t need additional revenue streams.

But who is clicking on those ads? I estimate I have only clicked on 10 ad links in my lifetime of internet usage.
