Interesting – and another example of the Singapore government being very pro-business.
Met with EDB (Economic Development Board of Singapore) today and learned about a program that they have available for start-up companies thinking about incorporating in Singapore.
From the news release “SEEDS – Five Years & Going Strong“
“Start-Up EnterprisE Development Scheme (SEEDS) is a co-financing scheme where the government matches up to a dollar for every dollar raised from third party investors up to a maximum of S$300,000 (US$188,700) per company.”
25% of their grants have been to foreigners.
